Yosemite

Look! Nature is Overflowing with the Grandeur of God.

Everything about Yosemite was absolutely gorgeous and incredibly peaceful. A part of me still wants to runaway to Yosemite and live there forever. I can understand why John Muir did!

The pictures above are from Nevada and Vernal Falls. Naturally, as one that is obsessed with waterfalls, these were by far my favorite hikes. The second photo is looking back at Vernal Falls from the the John Mist Trail.

To the top of Vernal Falls is about 7 miles long, halfway to Half Dome which you need a permit for. It is intermediate hike, may be slightly difficult for some, but definitely worth it.

There is more footage of this beautiful hike in the video below.

Touloumne Meadows was so picteresque it was almost too good to be true. The Mountains seriously look surreal. It is about a half hour drive from the campground but it is also near Teneya Lake and in my opinion, both are must see stops.

Usually when I go camping I want to conquer the toughest and most rewarding hikes. But these stops required little physical activity. You just sat their in beauty and tranquility.

Tenaya Lake was colder than it looks, even in September. We took two separate trail heads to see both ends of the Lake. Spoiler Alert, it’s just as beautiful on both sides.

This is a panorama of our campground, but the space was HUGE. Rumor has it, Oprah once stayed in this space. It’s right in the corner by the river, very private, yet in close proximity to the bathrooms, and is perfect for star gazing at night.

Below is even better footage of the trip!
