Liberty Public Market contains an array of local San Diego specific eateries and shops including Breakfast Republic, Pigment, and Moniker General.
Breakfast Republic
Breakfast Republic was awarded San Diego Magazine’s “Reader’s Choice”. Here you can enjoy a freshly brewed beer or a freshly brewed coffee. Their aesthetic atmosphere and cheeky humor make it one of a kind.
Breakfast Republic offers American style brunch (shrimp and grits, Oreo pancakes) along with a variety of health-conscious options including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free.
From top to bottom, we ordered Protein Lover Scramble with the addition of Cinamon Roll Pancakes, S’mores French Toast, and the California Breakfast Burrito.
I loved the various fun flavors of pancakes and french toast available. These were no doubt incredibly delicious but it is quite a bit of sugar to stomach first thing in the morning. I would definitely recommend the Scrambler option which gives you a side pancake of your choice at an additional cost.
I really enjoyed the detailed designs. Like the hands holding the food prepared, the egg chairs, and the various cups and apparel not pictured.
Similar to Holy Matcha and Parakeet Cafe, it is great food and a great atmosphere but not budget friendly; typically $10 – $15 a plate.
Breakfast Republic is currently only located in San Diego County but is quickly expanding into the Orange County as well.
Pigment
Pigment brings organic and local products to San Diego including plants, home decor, stationery, and more. It is a beautiful store separated by color and product types.
You have an abundance of choices to create your own planter. Different sizes, different styles, different plants, and different soil types and colors!
Even if you decide not to shop, it is a fun place to look around.
Moniker General
Moniker General was both a coffee shop and a store with locally made and organic food and products. I recommend taking a gander at the candles and honey.
It also contained cute wall art throughout the store!
