“Welcome to my Crib”
or atleast, that’s what Lucy would say if she could talk.
Since we first moved in, three years ago, I’ve dreamt of this one day becoming a nursery. It started as our boho guest room. The egg chair, macrame, basket, and pampas grass remain from my original set-up. The wooden hanging shelves were replaced with adorable pink shelves!

I used to change the decor and pillow on the egg chair seasonally, but now it is a pink tent enclave. When she’s older, I am considering replacing the egg chair with a playmat for her to play in. I originally wanted this pink tent over the crib but quickly learned that is not baby-safe. I also felt like it added a subtle princessy feel to the room.

The vision for this baby girl nursery was a cross between bohemian and pink coquette, so I focused on adding more baby pinks and florals to the original set up.

During my prime nesting phase, at 39 weeks, I hand-measured and placed every single one of these decals on the back wall, it literally took me almost 8 hours. But it’s my favorite part of the nursery so it was well worth it. I used three different packs of decals to get the pinker hearts, the boho rainbows and pastel rainbows, and florals so that it blended all of the themes and color schemes of the room together.
The baby pink rug also helped balance out the color schemes and doubles as a play mat!

Other functionality in the room includes the dual dresser and changing station and the playroom storage.

The playroom storage is still half empty, but it will be used one day! I also liked that it came with options to expand, but figured we’d wait until we needed more storage before making any additional furniture decisions. We actually still have space in the room to expand for Lucy to, literally, grow into.
And ofcourse, I had to keep some plants in there… but in reality I just couldn’t move my fiddle fig because she is fickle and may die if I move her to any other room ifykyk.
